MYTH currently uses essential website storage. Optional analytics and advertising trackers are not enabled. You can review the current settings at any time from the footer.

Cookies are small values that a website or service can store in a browser. Local storage persists between visits until removed; session storage usually lasts for the current browser tab. Similar privacy considerations apply even when information is not stored as a traditional cookie.

This Policy describes the current MYTH website and distinguishes it from project folders in the desktop app. It complements the Privacy Policy rather than replacing it.

MYTH currently uses essential storage for functions you request: account sign-in, secure sign-in redirects, checkout continuity and remembering your cookie choice. The landing page does not load MYTH analytics or advertising trackers.

Essential processing is not turned off by the cookie panel because it is needed to provide the requested functionality or remember your choice. Optional categories are identified as not in use, rather than presented as tracking that is already active.

When you sign in, the website stores a session token under token. Administrator sign-in can use adminToken. These authenticate requests to the account service. The stored session is cleared on sign-out or when the app determines that it is no longer valid; browser storage itself does not automatically expire a local-storage entry.

The MYTH backend also uses a session cookie, normally called connect.sid, for server-side session and authentication support. Its current configuration uses a browser-session cookie; a browser’s session-restore feature may retain it when reopening tabs. This is separate from optional analytics or advertising.

A Google sign-in or another external identity service is also subject to that provider’s policies and can involve its own security or session cookies.

The website can store a same-site return path in session storage as myth_post_login_redirect, so that signing in returns you to the page you requested. Desktop sign-in uses myth_desktop_sign_in to carry a short-lived sign-in state through the browser handoff; that flow has a 15-minute validity window.

Checkout uses myth_pending_paddle_transaction to associate an in-progress Paddle transaction with account access. That value is cleared when the checkout flow completes or is closed. It is a transaction reference, not a card number. Closing a browser unexpectedly can leave local values until a later flow or browser cleanup removes them.

The cookie panel stores your choice in myth_cookie_consent_v1, including the preference version, timestamp and the necessary-only setting. The choice is valid for 180 days, after which the panel can ask you to review it again. A material change to the categories or purposes would require a new choice where consent is needed.

The preference is stored only in that browser and is not linked to your MYTH account. If storage is blocked, the panel can remember your choice for the current page session, but may ask again on a later visit. Clearing site data removes the choice.

Optional analytics and advertising trackers are not currently enabled on the website. The panel therefore offers a necessary-only choice and an explanation of the available categories, rather than asking you to enable a service that is not installed.

We would need to identify any future optional purpose and obtain the relevant consent before activating it where consent is required. Scrolling, continuing to browse or closing a settings dialog is not treated as consent to optional tracking.

Paddle’s checkout code is loaded when a checkout flow is requested or a checkout transaction link is opened, rather than for an ordinary landing-page visit. Payment and fraud-prevention features can involve storage controlled by Paddle and its providers.

Following a link, using Google sign-in or opening a third-party checkout can involve that service’s own storage and notices. MYTH’s cookie settings apply to the MYTH website; they cannot erase or control data stored on an independent provider’s domain.

The desktop app saves project files and MYTH metadata in local project folders, and can also remember interface or tool preferences on the computer. This is functional application data, not a website advertising cookie.

Clearing browser storage is not a way to cancel a subscription or delete a MYTH account. Conversely, deleting a MYTH account does not automatically erase your own source folders, external backups or records you separately placed in a connected service. Review the desktop deletion controls and keep backups of files you need.

Choose Cookie settings in the website footer to review the current categories and save a necessary-only preference. You can also use your browser’s site-data settings to inspect or remove cookies, local storage and session storage for MYTH.

Clearing authentication data can sign you out. Clearing preference data can bring back the cookie notice, and removing temporary state can interrupt sign-in or checkout. Blocking all storage may prevent some requested features from working. A choice on one browser does not automatically apply to other browsers or devices.

We will revise this page when storage purposes materially change. For a storage or privacy question, contact myth.team.ai@gmail.com. Do not include session tokens, passwords or payment-card details in a support message.
